Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Westampton, NJ 08060
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: Full-time Direct Hire $45-50k/year plus benefits
Summary:
We are a packaging and distribution company in Westampton, New Jersey and are looking to hire a Domestic Logistics Coordinator to support all aspects of Shipping & Receiving functions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the flow of freight to carriers
- Grow business with current carriers as well as identifying, prospecting, and generating new carriers through analysis and discovery.
- Proactively communicate with carriers and customers to resolve daily problems and provide proper resolutions.
- Perform daily logistics activities such as creating shipments, scheduling appointments, tracking shipments, obtaining/negotiating rates, and tendering freight to partner carriers.
- Respond to emails in a timely manner for new orders, rate quotes, changes to shipments, etc.
- Work with warehouse staff to complete required transportation service
- Reports to Logistics Manager and provides updates on status and changes where necessary.
- Assist with customer service
- Process transportation requirements for purchase orders from customers
- Confirm and acknowledge Purchase orders from customers
- Internal and external communication regarding status of orders

Requirements:
- One-year related logistics experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
