Hybrid Commercial Insurance Sales Representative Job Details:
Schedule: M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Flexible based on sales needs)
Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000 (Base Salary)
Bonus Structure: $20,000 - $40,000 in bonuses based on performance
Travel: Remote work with travel throughout assigned territory (Central PA and parts of Maryland)

Hybrid Commercial Insurance Sales Representative Job Description:
- Match existing agent relationships with business opportunities and recommend new commercial lines distribution partners in the assigned territory
- Pursue, upsell, cross-sell, and recapture opportunities with agencies and brokers
- Coordinate New Business Proposal Meetings and present insurance options to agencies and brokers
- Lead pre-renewal discussions and collaborate with agencies to ensure successful renewals
- Review competitor plans with underwriting to ensure the best pricing
- Assist with contracting new agencies and brokers and help onboard or terminate as needed
- Maintain agency and broker profiles and support corporate functions such as Corporate Giving and Chamber of Commerce events
- Review underwriting appetite and services with agencies and brokers to ensure successful relationships
- Assist with annual planning and monitor progress throughout the year
Hybrid Commercial Insurance Sales Representative Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial insurance sales or distribution, with a focus on commercial lines
- Strong broker relationships in Central PA or Maryland territories
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and tasks
- Active producer’s license for relevant states (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong communication skills to explain complex insurance issues and offerings
- Ability to meet strategic goals and targets in the assigned territory
