PeopleShare is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our global recycling manufacturing team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art machinery. Maintenance Mechanic Job Details:
- Schedule: 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am on a 223 schedule.
- Get your schedule for the whole year!
- Pay Rate: $27 - $33 depending on experience and certifications
Maintenance Mechanic Job Description:
• Test and observe equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices to diagnose
malfunctions and make repairs as needed
• Inspect, maintain and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure they’re always in proper working order
• Dismantle machinery or equipment, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools
• Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools
• Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using
hand tools and power tools
• Required repair and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Installing or removing any special equipment, grinder, power and hand tools etc.
• Support and communicate with production personnel to identify and correct problem areas negatively impacting
production
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches,
operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills in Englis
