Job Details for Benefits Coordinator:
- Monday-Friday 9a-5p
- $28-$33/hr. based on experience
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in office 2 days remote)
Job Responsibilities for Benefits Coordinator:
- Manage administration of group benefit plans including but not limited to, medical, Rx, dental, vision, life insurances
- Conduct monthly and quarterly audits for benefit eligibility including over-age dependents
- Assist the Sr. Analyst with managing ACA compliance and reviewing of ACA compliance monthly
- Participate in annual enrollment planning, testing and execution
- Act as liaison between vendors and team members to facilitate issue resolution as needed
- Follow through to ensure that team member's issues are fully resolved
- Serve as point of contact for HR regarding benefit plan inquiries and policies
- Participate in conducting new hire benefits orientation
- Manage and maintain the Benefits inbox
Job Requirements for Benefits Coordinator:
- Minimum 2+ years employee benefits administration experience required
- Strong Excel experience – specifically v-lookups, pivot tables, formulas
- Knowledgeable of laws and regulations including but not limited to ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, CA-COBRA, PPACA, QMCSO/NMS a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and pivot as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills required
- Proficient in the use of PC software including Microsoft Office, ADP or other HRIS software. Case Management software a plus.
