Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Pay Range: $30-35+/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on various equipment and systems (including plumbing, electrical wiring, boilers, and machinery).
- Maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment to prevent downtime.
- Inspect and repair facility infrastructure to meet safety standards.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues and reduce repair costs.
- Identify and address safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and management to address any maintenance-related concerns.
- Ensure all work follows company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and structural issues within the building, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and other building fixtures as needed.
- Ensure building safety compliance, including inspecting fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and security systems.
- Manage documentation of repairs and maintenance, including tracking inventory and coordinating with contractors for specialized work.
Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
- Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.
