Shipping Clerk Job Details:
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
- Pay Rate: $19-$21 per hour
Shipping Clerk Job Description:
- Prepare Daily shipments. Line up various LTL/Dedicated trucking companies for each shipment. Operate UPS Worldship computer, etc.
- Load/unload daily trucks
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. individually, up to 125 lbs. with assistance
- Receive Daily incoming shipments/material. (will receive training on overhead crane for unloading flatbeds of aluminum/steel/etc)
- Operate Forklift in order to prepare shipments, load trucks, put away incoming material
- Organize incoming material onto racks/shelves
- During shipping downtime, shipper helps out assembling hardware kits, some handtool type assembly, etc.
Shipping Clerk Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience with shipping software, LTL, UPS Worldship
- Ability to bend stoop kneel and lift as needed
- 2 years forklift operation experience
