The Chief Human Resources Director (CHRD) is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of HR function, including but not limited to recruitment, salary and benefits administration, and employee relations.

Job Responsibilities for HR Director in Philadelphia:
- Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and ensure FIGHT’s compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Manage Payroll Functions related to HR’s role in conjunction with the Finance Department, coordinating salary offers, employee earnings and required employee deductions, adjustments, garnishments, etc.
- Coordinate all employee relations matters and be responsible for the development of effective compensation programs and wage/salary administration practices to ensure labor market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Establish management practices that support positive employer-employee relationships and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Manage staff wellness and performance reviews.
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
- The Human Resources Director has supervisory responsibility for the Human Resources Department, including approximately four (4) direct reports.
Job Requirements for HR Director in Philadelphia:
- Master’s degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PHR or SPHR preferred.
