Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
Pay Rate: $18-20/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overview
- This role supports all business activities within a busy ambulatory surgical center, including interaction with customers and patients
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering Phones
- Creates patient charts and labels them with appropriate demographic
- Collates Paperwork
- Monitors efax and relays information to the appropriate party
- Sorts, files and collates medical records info such as admission slips, lab reports, and clinical notes into charts in appropriate sequence and in accordance with established procedures
- Performs clerical duites, including mail delivery, faxing, copying, and scanning
- Ensures the integrity of sensitive info and must strictly uphold patient confidentiality
- Retrieves existing medical records as requested
Requirements
- Must demonstrate initiative and ability to work with physicians and other healthcare providers with cooperation and flexibility to enhance patient care delivery.
- HS diploma or equivalent with a special interest in business or health related
- Familiarity with health care environments.
- Great customer service
