Forklift Operator Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM
- Pay Rate: $21-$23/HR
- Healthcare benefits after 30 days
- Weekly pay
- No weekends
Forklift Operator Job Description:
- Move completed packages using pallet jack, material handling equipment or a forklift
- Responsible for the packaging, inspection, and shipment of a variety of small and large manufactured hardware products
- Preparing shipments for safe transit, and verifying accuracy of packed orders against customer specifications and production work orders by weighing, measuring, inspecting, and labeling the items
- Perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials prepared for shipment
- Pick, pack, wrap, foam, and seal product to ensure quality during transit
Forklift Operator Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count parts and pieces of varying size and shape
- Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools and basic measurement devices
- Knowledge of the manufacturing trade - calipers, rulers, tape measures
