Quality Inspector Job Details:
Schedule:
- 1st shift 7am to 3pm
- 2nd shift: 10:30am to 6:30pm
Pay Rate:
- 1st shift: $18/hour
- 2nd shift: $18.50/hour
Quality Inspector Job Description:
- Perform quality inspections on repaired equipment at the workbench level.
- Conduct qualification testing to verify equipment functionality and performance.
- Audit in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Perform basic electrical testing and analyze test results.
- Identify product and process improvement opportunities.
- Interface with installers, technicians, supervisors, and section heads regarding quality concerns.
- Accurately track, document, and maintain inspection records and test results.
- Document product deficiencies and communicate findings to Line Management.
- Ensure repaired products meet quality requirements prior to release.
Quality Inspector Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, electronics repair, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electronics and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to perform equipment testing and interpret test results.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity and visual inspection abilities.
