Shop Laborer (Seasonal-Possible Hire)

🕒 Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
💲 $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
Are you dependable, hardworking, and ready to stay busy? We are seeking a Temporary Shop Laborer to provide hands-on support during our busy season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in helping a team succeed, and is committed to workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with abrasive blasting and surface preparation as directed
- Hang parts on racks for coating to maximize production efficiency
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials
- Move parts and materials throughout the shop using proper lifting techniques
- Wrap and package completed parts for storage and shipment
- Support team members with general shop labor as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift/move materials safely
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Prior warehouse, production, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus but not required
- Prior experience (or industry adjacent experience) is not required but always appreciated.
