Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-430pm
Pay Rate:$21.50
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate Shipping Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently preparing, picking, and loading customer orders for shipment.
*This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.
Major Job Functions
- Efficiently pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Verify picked orders against packing orders to ensure correctness before shipment.
- Efficiently work within ERP system and procedures
- Safely load trucks with outgoing shipments, securing the freight to prevent damage during transport.
- Ensure all required shipping documentation is completed and accompanies the shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the warehouse and dock area.
- Organize and store materials appropriately within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety policies.
- Fill in within the inbound receiving department as needed, assisting with unloading trucks and receiving materials in.
Required Skills/Abilities/Education
- 3 years + of experience operating forklift within a warehouse environment
- Experience of working within ERP systems
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Ability to work under minimal to no supervision
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals across all levels of the organization
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to work occasional Overtime as needed
