Maintenance Mechanic Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing manufacturing facility in North Wales, PA. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving facility and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and utility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain and support boilers, steam systems, industrial HVAC equipment, compressed air systems, and plant water systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Complete routine inspections and maintenance activities on facility infrastructure.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of boilers/steam systems, industrial HVAC, or compressed air systems
- Ability to complete maintenance tasks independently with limited supervision.
