We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Warrendale, PA! In this role, you will efficiently process fresh-cut orders, including cutting and packaging fresh vegetables and other food products for next-day delivery. You will be working in a cold, wet environment and must be comfortable with these conditions.
Details:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM until work is complete (typically 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
Pay rate: $18/hr
Contract to hire - able to start ASAP!
Key Responsibilities:
- Process fresh-cut items and produce based on orders entered into the system.
- Cut, package, and label fresh produce for shipment.
- Ensure the processing room is clean and sanitized at the start of each shift.
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring they meet company quality standards.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Operate an electric pallet jack (training provided).
Qualifications:
- 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment (34-40°F year-round).
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, squat, push, pull, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
