Job Overview
We are currently hiring a 2nd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse environment. The 2nd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment, moving materials, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The ideal 2nd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities
- Operate a stand-up forklift to move, load, unload, and store products throughout the warehouse.
- Safely perform daily duties as a 2nd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator while meeting productivity and accuracy goals.
- Load and unload trailers, racks, and storage locations according to company procedures.
- Complete product put-away, replenishment, staging, and order pulling tasks.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Use RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and paperwork to track inventory movement.
- Secure products using stretch wrap and apply accurate labels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a 2nd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator preferred.
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification preferred; training may be available for qualified candidates.
- Ability to work in refrigerated, cold storage, or freezer environments as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
