Material Handler | Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: $15.50/hour
Eligible for a raise upon permanent hire.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- Training will be conducted on the 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM shift
- Consistent 40-hour work week with limited overtime
Start Date: Potential to start as early as next week
Job Duties:
- Prepare and mask surfaces before coating
- Use hand and power tools, including sanders, drills, and impact wrenches
- Hang parts for blasting, painting, and powder coating
- Move materials between workstations
- Package finished products for delivery or pickup
- Organize and safely store materials
- Read and follow work orders
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Assist with other production tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable wearing PPE
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
