Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- End Time: When work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM)
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Rare instances of working as late as 8:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
Pay
Job Responsibilities
As a Processor, you will help prepare fresh-cut produce and food products for next-day delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Duties include:
- Processing and preparing fresh-cut vegetables and other food products
- Cutting, packaging, and labeling products according to order specifications
- Preparing products for shipment
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized processing area
- Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met
- Following food safety guidelines and company procedures
- Operating safely around sharp cutting instruments
- Completing additional tasks assigned by supervisors and management
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math and arithmetic skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Age 18 or older
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a processing, warehouse, manufacturing, or food production environment
- Knowledge of produce or fresh food handling
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 80-100 lbs on a regular basis
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Bend, squat, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Work in a fast-paced production environment
- Work in confined spaces as needed
- Ability to safely use sharp cutting tools
