CNC Machine Operator Job Details:
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Training will take place on 1st shift for approximately 3–5 weeks before transitioning to the assigned shift.

- Pay Rate: $21.00–$27.00/hour, based on experience + shift differential

CNC Machine Operator Job Description:
- Set up, operate, and maintain automated CNC rotary transfer machining centers
- Load forgings and manufacture finished parts according to quality specifications
- Complete machine setups and make necessary adjustments and offsets
- Replace drills, tools, and other tooling as needed
- Perform regular quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore micrometers, and other gauges
- Utilize computer SPC software to monitor quality and production
- Diagnose and correct tooling and machining issues
- Monitor machine fluid levels and perform light daily preventative maintenance
- Remove and process chips and clean machines as necessary
- Monitor production to ensure required machining rates are achieved
- Accurately record daily production and report equipment or quality concerns
- Follow all company safety and housekeeping procedures
CNC Machine Operator Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in close-tolerance machining OR related coursework in Precision Machine Technology or Mechanical Production Technology
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and bore micrometers
- Computer and machine control knowledge is a plus
- Experience with robot-loaded equipment is a plus
- Ability to stand and bend frequently throughout the shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
