Position Summary
Seeking a Fiscal Compliance Specialist with experience in accounting, auditing, and financial compliance to support grant and contract monitoring activities. This role will review financial transactions, analyze expenditures, ensure compliance with funding requirements, support audits, and help maintain strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Review financial transactions, expenditures, budgets, and supporting documentation for compliance.
- Conduct fiscal monitoring of grants, contracts, and funding programs.
- Analyze budget-to-actual reports and identify potential compliance risks.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and funding requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200.
- Assist with audits, monitoring reviews, and corrective action tracking.
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Provide guidance and training on fiscal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial compliance.
- Grant management or government funding experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and financial/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
