Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are a growing logistics and Customs House Brokerage company located in Baltimore, MD, seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about Customer Service, we would love to hear from you.
The Customer Service Representative will support daily import operations for assigned accounts while delivering exceptional Customer Service to clients. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in providing outstanding Customer Service.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Customer Service to customers through regular communication and timely follow-up
- Create and maintain customer files and shipment records
- Ensure all required import documentation is received and complete
- Verify and enter information for Importer Security Filings (ISFs) and Customs Entries
- Compile and prepare commercial documents for entry processing
- Assist customers with questions and provide proactive Customer Service throughout the import process
- Audit import documents, including entry summaries, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and supporting documentation
- Track and trace shipments with steamship lines and airlines
- Communicate shipment updates and resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of Customer Service
- Work closely with U.S. Customs and other government agency requirements
- Provide pricing information to the accounting department to ensure timely billing
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless Customer Service experiences
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, import operations, or Customer Service
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated Customer Service experience and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced office environment
