We are currently hiring a Crate Builder for a full-time 1st-shift position in Newport News. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in construction, warehouse, or general labor who enjoy working with tools and building materials.
Location: Newport News, VA
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble wooden crates according to specifications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and other materials
- Perform general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow work instructions and meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or general labor preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
