In this role, you’ll lead the coordination of logistics activities—ensuring materials, equipment, and resources are moved safely, efficiently, and on time. As an Experienced Logistics Lead, you’ll guide a team, keep operations running smoothly, and step in to solve challenges as they arise. What You’ll Do as an Experienced Logistics Lead:
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to customers and project sites
- Manage logistics operations including transportation scheduling, inventory tracking, and warehouse coordination
- Lead logistics personnel, contractors, and third-party partners (including 3PLs)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and customer requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and partner with procurement to maintain stock availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and transportation issues quickly
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Support urgent and expedited logistics needs
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain organized warehouse operations
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to forecast logistics needs
Experienced Logistics Lead Requirements:
- 3+ years of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Previous leadership experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
- ERP system experience (NetSuite is a plus)
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to stand and be active for extended periods (up to 10+ hours)
