Material Handler – Full-Time
Virginia Beach, VA
PeopleShare is hiring full-time Material Handlers to support a facility specializing in media blasting, industrial painting, powder coating, and light fabrication for military and maritime projects.
Pay
$15.50/hour, with the opportunity for a raise upon permanent hire
Schedule
Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Includes a 45-minute unpaid lunch and a 15-minute paid break
Occasional Saturdays or evening shifts as needed
Consistent 40-hour work week
What You’ll Do
Prepare and mask parts before coating
Use hand and power tools such as sanders, drills, and impact wrenches
Hang parts for blasting, painting, and powder coating
Move materials between different work areas
Package and prepare finished products for delivery or pickup
Follow work orders and process instructions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Follow all safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Reliable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Detail-oriented and safety-focused
Comfortable wearing PPE
Able to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift
Valid Virginia driver’s license preferred
Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
Must pass a drug screen and background check
