Candidates will be responsible for preparing fresh produce for distribution while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Job Details
- Location: Warrendale, PA
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- End Time: Until work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, dependent on workload).
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging vegetables and other food products for next-day delivery.
- Process fresh cut items and produce according to specific orders entered into the system.
- Package items and prepare them for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain strict product quality standards throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, specifically when working with sharp instruments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1 year of warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge of produce or previous experience in a food processing facility is helpful.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English, along with basic arithmetic skills.
