Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Aurora, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $35–$45 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support daily plant operations by performing preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role helps reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and ensure safe, efficient production.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control‑related issues.
Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, sensors, and related components.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, startups, and shutdowns.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
Support plumbing, electrical, and PLC‑related maintenance (within training/licensing limits).
Coordinate outside contractors for specialized work.
Respond to urgent maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
Operate a mobile hydraulic crane for bulk tank loading (training provided).
Qualifications
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with preventative maintenance and root‑cause problem solving.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC‑based equipment preferred.
Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Basic computer skills for logging work.
Experience with cranes, forklifts, or manlifts preferred.
Valid driver’s license required CDL A preffered
Welding, fabrication, or formal maintenance training is a plus.
English required; Spanish familiarity preferred.
