Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (or until work is completed)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join a high‑volume, fast‑paced warehouse environment. This role is heavily focused on Reach Truck operation, with additional required experience on Sit‑Down Forklifts and Cherry Pickers / Order Pickers. This is a long‑term, temp‑to‑perm opportunity for a reliable, safety‑focused warehouse professional.
Forklift Experience – Required (Non‑Negotiable)
Candidates must have hands‑on experience operating all three types of equipment:
- Reach Truck (Primary and strongest skill required)
- Sit‑Down Forklift
- Cherry Picker / Order Picker
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Reach Truck, Sit‑Down Forklift, and Cherry Picker equipment
- Load and unload trailers
- Break down inbound materials and freight
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Support receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations
- Cross‑train and work across all warehouse departments on and off trucks
- Perform daily sweeping and floor cleaning to maintain warehouse standards
- Use basic computer systems for inventory and workflow updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant warehouse
- Complete all assigned tasks before the end of the shift
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating Reach Truck, Sit‑Down Forklift, and Cherry Picker
- Previous warehouse and palletized freight experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Steel‑toed boots required on day one (boots only — shoes not acceptable)
