PeopleShare is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations for a leading company in Emmaus, PA. This role reports directly to the Shipping Manager and plays a key part in ensuring efficient material flow throughout the facility.
Forklift Operator Job Details:
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday– Friday 6a-2p
- Job Type: Contract, Temp- to-Hire
- Location: Emmaus, PA
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain forklifts in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Complete forklift inspection forms before each shift and when using new equipment; report maintenance needs promptly.
- Locate and deliver stock to machines in a timely and accurate manner.
- Remove finished goods from machines and maintain organized stacks of stock in designated storage areas.
- Accurately complete paperwork related to stock locations and equipment usage.
- Follow the daily production schedule and recommend improvements to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
- Assist fellow forklift operators and serve as backup to the Shipping Lead Person when needed.
- Prepare and submit reports such as Production Data, Machine Operational Status, and Quality Data.
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Forklift experience
