Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Details:
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $60,000
- Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Emmaus, PA
Facilities Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility systems and industrial machinery.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
- Support facility improvement, renovation, and equipment installation projects.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, mechanical components, pipelines, and structural elements (including carpentry).
- Maintain spare parts inventory, track work orders, and assist with ordering materials to reduce downtime.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and complete timely repairs.
- Inspect, test, and verify proper functionality of facility and equipment safety systems.
- Perform groundskeeping and exterior maintenance as needed.
Facilities Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced repair skills.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components independently.
- Proficiency with installation practices, tools, and standard maintenance procedures.
- 10+ years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance‑related field.
- Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry experience required.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with industry‑specific tools, databases, or data analysis platforms.
