Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (Temp‑to‑Perm)
Location: Dundalk, MD 21224
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
We are hiring a Machine Operator to support a stable manufacturing facility in the Dundalk, MD area. This is a second‑shift, full‑time opportunity within a clean, safety‑driven, GMP-regulated production environment offering long‑term career growth and hands-on technical training.
As a Machine Operator, you will work in a regulated manufacturing environment focused on quality, consistency, and safety while operating injection molding and production equipment.
Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Operate production and injection molding machinery while following all safety, GMP, food safety, and facility procedures
- Perform labeling, packaging, and line clearance tasks
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and product accuracy checks
- Accurately complete production documentation (labels, dates, reports, and nonconforming product records)
- Communicate effectively with QA, supervisors, and team members during shift handoffs
- Assist with palletizing, sealing, and material handling as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 25–75 lbs consistently
- Basic math and reading skills
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Previous machine operation experience (injection molding a plus)
- Warehouse or industrial work background
- Experience working in GMP or regulated environments
Work Environment & PPE
- GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Steel or composite-toe footwear required
- Standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout shift
