Maintenance Mechanic – 1st Shift
Location: Maple Shade, NJ
Pay: $25–$30 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support facility operations and ensure equipment, systems, and building components remain safe, reliable, and fully functional. This role involves a mix of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled and semi‑skilled maintenance tasks to support facility operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Complete general repair work such as carpentry, painting, patching, and minor electrical or plumbing repairs.
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment, including scheduled PMs and equipment troubleshooting.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow all safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist with facility improvement projects as needed.
- Document work performed and communicate equipment or building concerns to management.
Job Requirements
- General maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
- Ability to perform repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general facilities upkeep.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance with building codes.
- Solid problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to a variety of maintenance tasks.
