Overview
PeopleShare Norfolk is hiring a Production Technician for a medical supplies manufacturing company in Norfolk. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a clean, controlled production environment.
Candidates must be able to start quickly, pass a background check and drug test, and be comfortable wearing required PPE, including a bonnet and full protective garments over clothing during the shift.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct daily quality testing, inspections, and production procedures.
Review and approve production batch records and quality documents for accuracy and completion.
Audit in‑process documentation throughout the day.
Record and maintain sterilization records.
Organize and maintain quality records and retention areas.
Report potential non‑conformances, issues, or roadblocks to the Quality Supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
Follow all established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Ability to pass a clean background check and drug test.
Comfortable wearing PPE (bonnet, gown, and protective coverings).
Reliable attendance and ability to start quickly.
Detail‑oriented with strong documentation habits.
Comfortable working in a structured, regulated environment.
