Pay: $22–$24/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 2-2-3, 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM (Must be available for both 1st and 3rd shift)

Position Summary
The Chemical Operator is responsible for safely operating process equipment to manufacture chemical products according to established procedures and specifications. This role includes batch production, equipment monitoring, sampling, documentation, and housekeeping in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate chemical processing equipment (reactors, blenders, pumps, filters, dryers, etc.) according to SOPs.
- Measure, weigh, and charge raw materials into process equipment following batch sheets.
- Monitor process conditions and make adjustments to maintain product specifications.
- Collect samples and work with Quality Control to verify product standards.
- Load/unload materials and finished products (may include forklift use).
- Complete all required production, safety, and quality documentation.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and safety instructions.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to wear required PPE (respirator, goggles, gloves, protective clothing).
Preferred:
- Previous chemical processing experience.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Experience handling hazardous materials safely.
- Familiarity with batch processing environments.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Work in a chemical plant environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, varying temperatures, and noise.
- Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs; occasional heavier lifting with assistance.
- Regularly stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to work inside and outside as needed, and safely perform duties at heights or on platforms.
