Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and precision instruments.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble defective electrical equipment (switches, outlets, motors, controls).
- Test installations for continuity, compatibility, and safety using electrical test equipment.
- Install and maintain electrical conduit, junction boxes, and switchboards.
- Adhere to GMPs, SOPs, and OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect and measure parts; adjust functional components using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Prepare maintenance reports and maintain technical knowledge through training.
- Assist with plant improvements and expansions.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical principles, codes, devices, and safety standards.
- Skilled in diagnosing electrical breakdowns and repairing electrical devices.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency with power tools and electrical trade tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
