1st Shift Machine Operator needed in Allentown, PA!
Our office is currently partnered with a leading company in Allentown, PA in their search for a Machine Operator.
Job Details:
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down production runs.
- Operate and monitor production line equipment.
- Perform visual inspections of materials being produced.
- Log run data on production records accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate production and quality issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform small batch mixing/dilution of coatings as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous machine operation experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are welcome.
- Basic math skills (fractions and decimals).
- Ability to follow production and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Team player who is self-motivated and can work independently.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and able to walk/stand for the entire shift.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Manufacturing background preferred; coding/converting experience is a plus.
