Pay: $62,000 – $72,800 per year

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Machining Specialist to lead the manufacturing of custom machines, devices, and robotic process automation projects. This role involves precision machining using manual tools such as mills, lathes, saws, grinders, and drills, while working closely with the team on design, assembly, and installations.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture custom machines and robotic process cells using manual machine tools.
Oversee production timelines and assign tasks to support staff.
Perform assembly and basic wiring for robotic systems.
Assist with local on-site installations (minimal travel).
Provide machining input during design reviews to improve manufacturability.
Support project quoting and mentor team members on machining best practices.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with manual machining tools (mills, lathes, saws, grinders, drills).
Strong skills in precision machining, setup, operation, and maintenance.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Basic wiring and assembly experience.
Hands-on, creative problem-solver; collaborative and self-motivated.
Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
No degree required — practical experience valued most.
Nice to Have
Experience with field installations or project costing.
Background in manufacturing (automotive, industrial, or similar).
Knowledge of electrical systems or robotics integration.
Interest in learning CNC machining.
