We’re looking for an Ingredient Operator to join our team at a leading peanut manufacturing facility in Suffolk, VA.
Pay: $17
Training: All new hires will start on Day Shift for the first 2 weeks for training.
Schedule:
Requirements: Former similar experience in ingredients is required. This is not an entry level position.
Role Overview
As an Ingredient Operator, you’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly for products like peanut butter.
Key Responsibilities:
Ingredient Management: Ensure the correct peanuts and other ingredients are used according to formula.
Flow Control: Maintain a consistent flow of ingredients from storage bins to production lines.
Sanitation: Clean and sanitize machinery, hoppers, and work areas to meet GMP and food safety standards.
Quality Control: Verify ingredient lot numbers, document downtime, and communicate with Quality Assurance.
Equipment Operation: Inspect, adjust, and calibrate machinery to ensure consistent performance.
