The Opportunity
We’re looking for Press Helpers to join our 1st shift team at $17.00 per hour. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support press operators with setups, changeovers, and production tasks that keep our presses running smoothly. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, staying active, and being part of a team that values precision and quality.
(Training will take place on both 1st and 2nd shift before moving permanently to 1st shift.)
What You’ll Do
Prepare materials and supplies based on job orders
Assist with press setups, changeovers, and ink loading
Mount plates and keep production areas stocked and organized
Clean and maintain ink chambers and equipment
Handle material movement with carts and pallet jacks
Step in to keep presses running during operator breaks
Inspect labels for accuracy and quality
Record basic production reports and flag issues to the team
Collaborate with operators and supervisors to meet schedules and maintain standards
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
Pitch in for overtime when needed
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing or printing experience a plus (but not required—we’ll train the right person!)
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving mindset
Strong organizational skills and steady work pace
Team-oriented attitude and clear communication
Comfort with reading safety and operating instructions
Physical Demands & Work Environment
On your feet for most of the shift (with frequent walking and lifting up to 50 lbs)
Reaching, bending, kneeling, and occasional climbing
Good vision (close-up, distance, and color recognition) required
Work near moving machinery and ink systems
Protective gear provided and required: safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses when handling inks/cleaners
