We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will work with raw materials, follow batch sheets, and ensure safe and accurate production, packaging, and labeling of chemical products. This position requires adherence to company, industry, and government safety standards while supporting continuous production and maintaining quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and apply knowledge of raw materials, equipment, batch sheets, and manufacturing procedures.
Operate safely in compliance with health, safety, cleanup, and waste management procedures.
Package chemicals into a variety of containers.
Stage and load finished goods onto pallets once cleared by Quality Control.
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic math skills, including knowledge of weights and measures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain forklift and stand-up lift certifications
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry 55 lbs or more.
Manual dexterity and strength to operate machinery.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
Regular use of PPE (gloves, goggles, respirators, full-body suits as required).
Exposure to manufacturing/warehouse conditions including temperature changes, moderate noise levels, and occasional chemical fumes (strict adherence to safety guidelines required).
Repetitive task performance as part of daily production duties
