About the Role:
Slitter Operator
Location: Matthews
Pay: $17.00/hr
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift, Monday–Friday: 7am-3:30pm
Assignment Length: 4–8 weeks | Quick start – start as early as Sept 22nd!
What You’ll Do:
Assist with setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of coating/slitter machines.
Load, move, and handle materials (up to 50 lbs).
Monitor equipment and maintain quality standards.
Keep work areas safe and organized.
Work closely with your team to meet daily production needs.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active during your shift.
Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
Ability to read a tape measure and follow directions.
Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented.
