Senior HVAC Job Description:
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation units.
- Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, including diagnosing issues with heating and cooling systems.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on equipment and any parts used.
- Collaborate with teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Senior HVAC Technician Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to plumb, build, and repair various HVAC equipment, boilers, and heat pump systems are a plus.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices and appliance repair techniques.
- Knowledge of design principles related to heating and cooling systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Certification in HVAC (EPA) is required.
Requirements
- A 3+ Â years of on-the-job experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Dedication to being on time, working safely on time
