Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Woodridge, IL
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $21-22/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a warehouse in Woodridge, IL. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, offering the opportunity to join the team permanently based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials and products safely within the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks efficiently.
Inspect incoming parts for freight damage and report issues.
Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive and ship loads (if applicable).
Perform cycle counts and support inventory control.
Maintain safety standards, clean work areas, and follow company policies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required (must be able to present proof).
Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), Monday – Friday.
Physically able to lift and move materials as required.
