Medical Assistant Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours (8:00 am and 5:30 pm)
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 DOE
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Medical Assistant Job Description:
Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and minor procedures
Measure and record vital signs, symptoms, and pertinent health information
Review and confirm patient medication lists, allergies, and surgical history
Support physicians during assessments and treatments in the exam room
Maintain sterile, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas
Input accurate clinical data into the electronic health record (EHR) system
Respond to patient needs with compassion, professionalism, and efficiency
Work in tandem with clinical teammates to maintain a smooth patient flow
Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
Active CMAs and LPN license is preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
At least one year of recent experience in a clinical setting
Comfortable navigating electronic health records (EHR)
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive team spirit
Ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment without compromising care
