Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Manufacturing Lead to join our production team in a light manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating specialized mattress machinery, overseeing day-to-day production tasks, and supporting a small team to meet quality and output goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor mattress manufacturing equipment
- Assist with the assembly of raw materials for mattress production
- Supervise the wrapping, compression, and rolling process
- Perform plastic changes, adjust machine settings, and handle basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe production area
- Communicate clearly with team members and lead daily workflow
- Ensure production goals and quality standards are met
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a small team
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine adjustments
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
