POSITION TITLE: Returns/Quality Associate (Forklift)
Schedule: Mon-Fri (9am-6pm) OR Weekend Fri-Sun
Pay Rate:$19/hr
Returns/Quality Associate DAY TO DAY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) system, including receiving and dispositioning returned materials from customers.
- Operate Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Reach Truck
- Oversee the freight claim process for damaged materials during shipment, working with carriers to recover costs.
- Maintain the non-conforming material process, tracking internal and supplier discrepancies, resolutions, and chargebacks.
- Implement engineering changes to ensure in-stock parts meet current specifications.
- Accurately document data and maintain records.
- Assist with QA technician duties as needed.
Returns/Quality Associate Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2–5 years of office/warehouse experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift experience required.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Returns/Quality Associate Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to:
- Pull materials and tools as needed for projects.
- Manage warehouse shipping and receiving duties.
- Make deliveries and maintain inventory.
- Keep the warehouse environment and tool inventory clean and safe.
- Handle special projects as needed.
Returns/Quality Associate Additional Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Knowledge and ability to use:
- Radius gauges, micrometers, calipers, height and pin gauges, and other measuring devices.
- Basic mathematics proficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
