Office Manager for Financial Practice Job Description:
The Office Manager provides leadership and oversight to the firm's financial advisors and support staff, playing a critical role in the day-to-day management and overall success of the practice. This individual works closely with all team members to manage operations, streamline systems, and enhance operational efficiencies, supporting the execution of client service models and contributing to the firm's growth.
Reporting directly to the two lead advisors, the Office Manager is an integral part of a boutique firm managing approximately $200 million in investment assets. The firm's clientele includes high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and more than 20 retirement plans. The firm offers a dynamic, collaborative environment and benefits from the resources of a Fortune 1000 company and a larger network of back-office support.
Operations Oversight
Manage daily operations and ensure task delegation and completion.
Create and maintain workflows and internal procedures across business processing, staffing, broker/dealer operations, client interactions, and event planning
Team Management
Technology & Education Leadership
Recommend improvements in technology and workflow systems.
Promote adoption and effective use of all technology platforms, including CRM.
Client Service Excellence
Communicate professionally with a clientele of retirees, high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and executives.
Assist with complex client service issues.
Design and implement systems to continually enhance the client experience, following a “Serve First” philosophy.
Estate and Insurance Management
Job Requirements:
- Ten years’ experience supporting a practice in the financial services industry.
- Experience working in the insurance or investment industry highly desired.
- FINRA 6 or 7 and 63/ 66 securities licenses a plus (preferred but not mandatory)
- Life and Health Insurance licenses (mandatory).
- Experience with financial planning tools and software (preferred).
- Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software (preferred).
- Insurance and/or securities licenses are helpful.
