Job Details of the Claims Specialist:
- Pay Rate: $21-25/hour
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
- Full-Time: Temp to Perm
- Hybrid: King of Prussia, PA
Selling Points of the Claims Specialist Once Perm:
- Benefits (dental, medical and vision) offered first date of FTE.
- 401K available after 90 days, matching after 1 year.

Job Responsibilities of the Claims Specialist:
- Research claim denials for assigned payer/s to determine reasons for denials correcting and reprocessing claims for payment in a timely manner.
- Accurate and timely submission of clean billing claims and addressing payer denials
- Verify accuracy of insurance and patient information
- Ensures timely submissions and collections of outstanding AR, and perform a variety of clerical and accounting functions to resolve billing issues of submitted claims
- Work with clinicians, patients and health plans in the submission and follow up of Prior Authorizations and appeal
Job Requirements of the Claims Specialist:
- one year of prior authorization or medical billing experience
- effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven multi-tasking and project planning skills
- Understanding of the difference between Medicare, Medicaid and Commerical insurance plans in relation to billing and reimbursement
