Sales Executive Overview
As a MSP Sales Executive in PeopleShare’s Strategic Solutions group, you will lead the sales process for mid-market clients across the U.S. Our ideal candidate understands the intricacies of MSPs, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS), and is energized by the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities for our Sales Executive
- Identify, qualify, and secure new mid-market clients for MSP solutions across various industries.
- Lead consultative discovery processes to understand workforce challenges, identify opportunities, and develop tailored MSP and VMS-based solutions.
- Own the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting and first meeting through proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation.
- Educate first-generation MSP buyers on the value of structured workforce programs and scalable staffing strategies.
- Partner with internal implementation and service delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and digital sourcing tools like LinkedIn and HubSpot.
- Deliver consistent sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM activity management to drive transparency and accountability.
Required Qualifications for Sales Executive
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with a focus on MSP solutions, staffing services, or workforce management.
- Hands-on experience selling to mid-market clients, ideally with deal sizes between $15M to $50M annually.
- Familiarity with VMS platforms and the role they play in streamlining contingent labor programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of building trust with CHROs, Talent Acquisition leaders, and Procurement executives.
- Proven ability to manage long, consultative sales cycles and close multi-stakeholder deals.
- Self-starter who thrives in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment where scaling is key.
- This role requires residence in a CST or EST time zone to ensure collaboration with team schedules.
Preferred Qualifications for our Sales Executive
- Experience helping clients transition into their first MSP program.
- Ability to create custom proposals, sales decks, and outreach strategies.
- Industry exposure to life sciences, healthcare, energy, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in smaller or mid-sized staffing firms is valued.
