Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate, proof, and distribute project specific invoices
- Accurately applies and records payments accordingly
- Respond to invoice inquiries in a timely manner
Accounts Payable:
- Receive, match, and enter vendor invoices
- Track vendor payment terms and payables aging
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Coordinate weekly payments to vendors
General:
- Interact with clients, colleagues, and managers in a professional manner
- Identify and reconcile errors and discrepancies in your own work and in the work of others
- Maintain and update client and vendor files
- Assists with incoming mail and proper dissemination
- Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of previous accounting experience preferred (i.e., billing, collections, bookkeeping)
- Degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with SAGE or other similar ERP software
- Overall computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent mathematical skills
