Corporate Paralegal

Pay Rate: TBD (based on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Independent, analytical, and detail-oriented
Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders in a diverse environment

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to the Vice President – General Counsel in managing legal affairs across multiple regions, including Third Party recoveries (Claims and Unclaimed Cargoes)
Assist in litigation, claims, contracts, compliance, and insurance coverage administration
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and filings
Maintain corporate records as directed by legal leadership
Manage Third Party recovery files, including claims and unclaimed cargoes
Review and provide recommendations on contracts, including service agreements and business contracts
Draft and submit corporate reports in compliance with jurisdictional requirements
Process and monitor vendor invoices and claims settlements
