A proven track record in event planning within the retail sector, specifically in the health or supplement industry, is essential for this role.
Job details for Business Operations Manager – Health & Wellness:
- Location: Chicago, IL (North Suburbs)
- Salary range: $85,000 - $90,000
- Schedule: M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Occasional events will require work after regular business hours.
Job Responsibilities for Business Operations Manager – Health & Wellness:
- Strategic Planning: Develop business plans, analyze market trends, and set goals to drive growth.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial health while preparing financial reports.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and motivate staff to improve productivity and foster a positive work environment.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Performance Monitoring: Set performance targets, evaluate results, and manage employee performance.
- Customer & Client Relations: Ensure customer satisfaction, address client concerns, and build strong relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, adapting to market changes.
- Innovation & Growth: Encourage innovation and explore new business opportunities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in retail operations with a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, especially within the health or supplement industry.
- Proven success in event planning within the retail sector, with a specific focus on the health or supplement industry.
